How do I use the CBAM module?

With the CBAM module you can identify which products are affected by CBAM, request relevant CBAM Data from your suppliers, export these data for reporting and send further measures to your suppliers. 

This article explains the procedure for the different steps in more detail. 



I. Identify affected products


1. Go to "Insights".


2. Select "CBAM". 


3. Click "Download CN-code check here". 



  • In the CBAM-Check worksheet, you can identify relevant CBAM products based on CN codes. 



  • A detailed guide can be found in the "Read ME" worksheet


If the identified suppliers are not yet registered on the VERSO sustainabill platform send them a connection request. If you need help please read this article: How do I send a connection request?



II. Request CBAM data


To request specific emission data from suppliers, send them a CBAM request. If you need help please read this article: How do I send a CBAM Request?



III. Export CBAM report data


The supplier data required for the CBAM report can be exported in consolidated form for each reporting period. Please read the article Export CBAM report data



IV. Send measures or further requests


For example, if a supplier has not provided any data, you can send further measures (such as training) or requests (e.g., comments on missing data) to this supplier from the CBAM dashboard via "Insights" >> "CBAM" 


1. Select the relevant supplier(s) in the CBAM dashboard.


Click on 


a. "Send request" to choose the request you want to send. 


b. "New action".
