How the logic behind the feature "Recommended Maturity Assessments" works:

In the Due Diligence Dashboard, you can use the filter “Recommended Maturity Assessments”.

You can filter by the following 4 different Maturity Assessment topics to get a list of suppliers identified and recommended by the system to send the selected topics to:

  • Human Rights and Labor
  • Environmental Protection
  • Prevention of Corruption
  • Health and Safety.

Why is a topic recommended?

The 13 LkSG risk categories are mapped to the Maturity Assessment Topics as follows:

LkSG risk category

Maturity Assessment Topic

M1 – Child labor

Human Rights and Labor

M2 – Forced labor and slavery

Human Rights and Labor

M3 – Health and Safety

Health and Safety

M4 – Freedom of association

M5 – Unequal treatment

Human Rights and Labor

M6 – Fair wages

Human Rights and Labor

M7 – Environmental damage

Environmental Protection

M8 – Violation of land rights

Human Rights and Labor

M9 – Abuse by security forces

U2 – Stockholm convention (POPs)

U3 – Basel convention (hazardous waste)

A topic is recommended for a supplier if it meets all the following criteria:

  • The supplier has a high abstract risk in at least one of the associated LkSG risk categories (refer to the table above).
  • The supplier has not yet responded to the corresponding Maturity Assessment Topic.
  • The Topic has not been sent to the supplier within the past 12 months.
